The National Social Service (NSS) unit of GDC Beerwah involves the students of the college in activities that promote a sense of belonging to the society and foster in them a spirit of social service. The NSS unit of the college is organising a gamut of activities, a general purview of these activities is briefly presented as under:

• Plantation Drive.
• Celebration of World Environment Day. 
• College Campus Cleanliness Drive.
• Swachi Bharat Abhiyan. World AIDS Day.

The principal actively gets involved in all the activities and appreciates the role of the volunteers.
