About Digital Week 2022:

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is committed to leveraging ICT for bringing about transformational changes in the lives of citizens. As part of the “Digital Jammu and Kashmir” programme taken up in mission mode, a number of citizen-centric IT initiatives have been launched to bring about greater transparency in government working and to add to ease and convenience of citizens availing public services.

The aim of IT initiatives is to ensure digital access, digital delivery of services and digital inclusion of all, based on technology that is sustainable, affordable and transformative. The initiatives of e-office, BEAMS-empowerment, Aap ki Zameen Aap ki Nigrani, App Ka Mobile Hamara Daftar (UMAND mobile app), eUNNAT (UNified, iNtegrated Accessible, Transparent), integration of online services with DigiLocker, e-payment gateway, SMS/email gateway, Aadhaar and National Single Sign On (MeriPachaan) are some steps that have been taken to bring about accountability, speed and convenience in the delivery of services.

The UT of Jammu and Kashmir has been ranked first amongst UTs in the NeSDA (National e-Service Delivery Assessment) on both the state portal and the services portal by DARPG, Government of India for the year 2021.
